150FF_ARYouthCharacterBuildingFACT: Last year, there were 134,754 Youth character-building, educational, arts and music sessions at our centers across Massachusetts.

150FF_Back2SchoolFACT: Together with Garden Neighborhood Charities and the City of Boston, we help thousands of students prepare for school with free supplies and a backpack at the Back to School Celebration.

Over the four years that we have held the event, this partnership has distributed 15,500 backpacks stuffed with school supplies to help kids start the year strong!

150FF_ChristmasCastleFACT: At our annual Christmas Castle, we provide jackets, toys and Christmas food vouchers to nearly 6,000 families.

Literally held in a castle (the Park Plaza Castle on Columbus Ave) parents are assigned a “personal shopper” to help them select coats and toys for their children. Coats are provided through Coats for Kids and Operation Warm. Brand new toys are purchased with donations from generous people in the Greater Boston area.

150FF_NorthAdamsFACT: Last Thanksgiving, the North Adams Firefighters Local 1781 donated 20 turkeys to the local Salvation Army to help those struggling to feed their families.
